There are many different ways you can support the life and work of our church and one key way is through financial giving. As a family we want to contribute to the things we see God doing around us. Giving is also a key part of what it is to be a follower of Jesus Christ. We express our worship in how we choose to use our finances. There are a number of talks that you can listen to that explain more fully our understanding of the role of giving in the life of a follower of Jesus. You can listen to these here.
If you are part of our church and do not already give, please consider how you would be able to partner with us in this way.
HOW CAN I GIVE TO THE LIFE OF B&A?
If you would like to make a donation to B&A there are two main ways you can do this:
- One-off payments: Give a one-off donation using 1) our safe and secure online system 2) via BACs transfer (please contact our Finance Officer for details) or 3) via the weekly collection taken at Sunday services. Please use the yellow giving envelopes provided.
- Regularly. You can give regularly by setting up a standing order with your bank. To do this, complete a Giving Form and post it to the Finance Officer. If you already have a standing order and would like to increase your giving please download and complete the Giving Form. You can also set this up yourself online. Please ask the Finance Officer for the account details.
MAKE YOUR DONATION GO FURTHER
If you pay UK tax (Income or Capital Gains Tax) and would like us to be able to claim back the basic rate tax, you will need to fill in, sign and return to us an ongoing Gift Aid Declaration if you have not done so already. The benefit to B&A is that we can recover the basic rate of income tax,(currently 25p for each pound give). If you pay higher rate tax, you may recover this through your own tax return
