This Sunday Paul spoke from 1 Thessalonians 2:17 - 3:5 about living counter culturally. Through historical context from the early Thessalonian church and stories from his time in Burundi during the Rwandan genocide, we see just what community meant for the church then and why we still need it now.

Who do you live to please? This Sunday Wayne talked about how we can live a life that communicates the real faith that we looked at a couple of weeks ago.

This Sunday we welcomed James Aladiran, founder of Prayer Storm, to the Gathering at B&A. James spoke about receiving Jesus every day and how we can live under His governance as temples of His glory.

This is the first in our new series looking at Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians. Wayne talks us through chapter 1 of 1 Thessalonians and how real faith is really seen, it comes from real experience and it has to be really shared.

This Sunday, Paul landed our series on Bringing Bristol to Jesus by taking us on a walk along the road to Emmaus and encouraging us to make time to encounter Jesus and help our friends to do the same.

This week Wayne spoke about prayer and the Lord's prayer which Jesus taught his disciples. The story of our lives is begun in prayer and intimacy with the Father.

This week Ron spoke about giving a tenth of our income. We got to see his impressive trainer collection, test out B&A's catching skills and hear stories of his and Ro's journey of learning to trust God with everything they have.

In March we're following on from our vision and values talks from the start of the year with a new series on the rhythms that help us draw closer to Jesus. Charles kicked things off this week speaking to us about fasting.

Our reading this week was from 1 Corinthians 12. James spoke about what it means to radically live out our identity as the body of Christ.

Here, Ro unpacks what it looks like to be people of faith and shares stories of her experience depending on Jesus.

Wayne talks us through John 3:16 and John 8:1-11 and what actually happens when we bring people to Jesus.

The Armour of God: "put on the full armour of God, so that you may take your stand against the devil’s schemes".

Sam expands on Paul’s writing on the spiritual battle Christians engage in daily. The enemies Christians face, ultimately, are not physical people or objects; our true opponent is sin and the devil. Sam encourages us to find space in our lives for prayer; when we pray, our enemy is defeated and revival happens.

Wayne shares his recent experience of mission when he travelled to Kasese, Uganda with SOMAUK.
